A beautiful Village with great Potential
Tondo is more than a village in the Democratic Republic of Congo. It is a community of people, families, children, farmers, workers and dreamers who share something powerful: the desire for a better future. Surrounded by the beauty and richness of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Tondo represents the potential that exists in communities across the country. Its people have the determination to build, the courage to overcome challenges and the hope that future generations can have opportunities that were not always available to those before them. But hope needs a foundation. Access to quality healthcare, education, clean water, safe community spaces and opportunities for sustainable development can make an enormous difference in the life of a community. For the people of Tondo, these are not simply development goals. They are building blocks for healthier families, stronger communities and a more promising future.

For generations, Tondo has been a place of resilience, faith, and community. Though the village has faced devastating floods, deteriorating infrastructure, and limited access to healthcare, its spirit has never been broken.

Totonga Tondo
Totonga Tondo is an organization that was established to help develop and improve living conditions in the village of Tondo in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Totonga Tondo is supported by a sister agency in the USA known as Congo Arise.
Interesting Historical Background
Many years ago there was a visionary leader named Mompongo mo Imana who lived in this community and organized many great projects in this region.
Make a donation
The community leaders are anxiously awaiting the building of the new hospital. They have donated land and have prepared the site.
Be a Volunteer
It will be a big project and require a lot of support. The very first effort will be to drill a drinking water well at the site of the new hospital.
